Explorer Task Card page...

Tasks:

  • Individually select and explore at least one external link in Online D.I. Resources, Definitions, Discussions, & Approaches.
  • Make notes as you explore to share within your small grou (you will also be able to save the text chat window to save the reflections you and others in your group shared during breakout)
  • Respond to one or both of the prompts in the Discussion tab at the top of this wiki page; if you don't have time during breakout, you can always come back to the wiki later and add to the discussion.
  • When exploration time is up, return to Elluminate and contribute to the breakout summary in the text chat window.
  • Consider something you learned/discovered that could be shared with the large-group in the main room. Offer sites you found especially valuable, insights you gained, and how you might continue your own explorations.

Follow-up:

  • Postings in the Discussion tab on this page may be completed during or after the workshop.
  • Participants are encouraged to re-visit the Tech4DI wiki often and contribute resources for Differentiation and Technology in the External Links and Resources pages and your own strategies and experiences in the Tech Tips & Strategies pages.
  • Consider using the Notify Me tab at the top to monitor one or more Tech4DI pages via email notification when changes occur, or by using the RSS subscription feature. You may also choose to monitor the entire Tech4DI wiki site by selecting the Space-Wide Notification Page link here or from the Notify Me tab on any page.

  • Individually select and draw from at least one external link in Online D.I. Resources, Ready-to-Use Activities & Strategies and/or Technologies for D.I. Start here and explore as you need or wish to mine what you can from the resources.
  • Visit and gather (mine) useful links. Bookmark those you will definitely want to visit later.
  • As you mine these resources, make notes in the Elluminate text chat window to share with others in your breakout group. You will also be able to save this text chat window to review after the workshop.
  • Respond to one or both of the prompts in the Discussion tab at the top of this wiki page if there is time. You can also revisit the wiki and comment after the workshop.
